Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions are intended to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between KWordGame (hereinafter "Company") and users regarding the use of the Korean word chain game service (hereinafter "Service") provided by the Company, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows.

• "Service" means the Korean word chain game provided by the Company.
• "User" means a person who enters into a service agreement with the Company in accordance with these terms and conditions and uses the services provided by the Company.
• "Account" means a combination of characters, numbers, or special characters selected by the user and approved by the Company for user identification and service use.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes of Terms)

1. These terms and conditions take effect by being posted on the service screen or notified to users by other means.

2. The Company may change these terms and conditions to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws.

3. If the terms are changed, the Company will notify users of the changes through notices 7 days before the implementation date.

Article 4 (Provision of Services)

1. The Company provides the following services.

• Korean word chain game service
• Game records and ranking management
• Member management and authentication
• Other services determined by the Company

2. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle.

Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services if there are reasons such as maintenance, replacement, and failure of information and communication equipment such as computers, or interruption of communication.

2. The Company compensates for damages suffered by users or third parties due to the temporary suspension of service provision due to the reasons in paragraph 1. However, this does not apply if the Company proves that there was no intention or negligence.

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

1. Users apply for membership by filling out the membership information according to the registration form prescribed by the Company and expressing their intention to agree to these terms and conditions.

2. The Company registers users who apply for membership as described in paragraph 1 as members, except in the following cases.

• If the applicant has previously lost membership status under these terms and conditions
• If there are falsehoods, omissions, or errors in the registration details
• If it is determined that registering as a member would significantly hinder the Company's technology

Article 7 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)

1. Members may request withdrawal from the Company at any time, and the Company will process the withdrawal immediately.

2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the Company may restrict or suspend membership.

• If false information is registered when applying for membership
• If interfering with another person's use of the service or stealing their information, threatening e-commerce order
• If using the service to perform acts prohibited by law or these terms and conditions or contrary to public order and morals

Article 8 (Obligations of Members)

1. Members must not perform the following acts.

• Registration of false information when applying or changing
• Stealing another person's information
• Changing information posted by the Company
• Sending or posting information other than that determined by the Company (computer programs, etc.)
• Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company or other third parties
• Acts that damage the reputation of the Company or other third parties or interfere with business
• Acts of disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, sounds, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the service

Article 9 (Obligations of the Company)

1. The Company must not perform acts prohibited by law or these terms and conditions or contrary to public order and morals, and must do its best to provide services continuously and stably in accordance with these terms and conditions.

2. The Company builds a security system to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can use Internet services safely.

3. If opinions or complaints raised by users regarding service use are objectively recognized as legitimate, the Company must process them immediately through appropriate procedures.

Article 10 (Protection of Personal Information)

1. The Company establishes and complies with a privacy policy to protect users' personal information.

2. Details regarding the collection, use, provision, consignment, and destruction of personal information are specified in the privacy policy.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

1. The Company installs and operates a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and process compensation for damages.

2. Disputes arising between the Company and users regarding e-commerce may be subject to mediation by the Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee.

Article 12 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

1. Korean law applies to disputes arising between the Company and users.

2. Lawsuits filed between the Company and users shall be under the jurisdiction of Korean courts.

Supplementary Provisions

These terms and conditions take effect from January 1, 2024.
